Fire Risk Assessments
Fire risk assessments are a legal requirement for most non-domestic premises and form the foundation of effective fire safety management.
An assessment involves a detailed review of the property to identify fire hazards, evaluate the level of risk, and determine whether existing fire safety measures are suitable for the way the building is actually used.
This includes assessing means of escape, fire detection and warning systems, compartmentation, fire doors, travel distances and overall fire safety management.
Findings are clearly documented in a structured report, identifying any deficiencies and setting out practical, proportionate actions required to achieve compliance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
The aim is to provide a clear and realistic understanding of fire risk within the property, along with straightforward steps to reduce that risk and maintain a safe environment.
